Adopt a pet!

We are very selective in finding homes for our animals

Dogs

If you come visit and see a dog in her or his kennel that you like or see a dog that appeals online, our procedure is to accept applications, try to discern the best match, then schedule a meet and greet with our adoption guru. With puppies and other especially appealing dogs that everyone desires, the choice is difficult. People can be and are disappointed if the dog they want goes home with someone else. Know that the best life for the dogs is our ultimate goal.

We are sorry but time and staff constraints make it impossible for us to keep “in search of/wish lists”. Bookmark this page to see who we have available.

You may complete and submit the online application found below the listings of current adoptable animals if you know the dog that you are hoping to make a part of your family. It is long- print and mail or scan this if you wish.

Cats

Cats being cats like to choose you in person, there is not a need for an application before meeting an adult cat. Of course, you are encouraged to let us know of your interest in a kitty that strikes your fancy. Staff is happy to advise you about their personalities and any quirks they and volunteers have noted.

We do have you apply for kittens. Download the form here.

Barn/Outdoor Cats

We sometimes have them. Learn how to adopt one on this page.

Current Adoptable Animals

If an animal appeals to you on Petfinder but you can't adopt, use the Sponsor Me  button below the animal of your choice. The next best thing to adoption is sponsoring the cat or dog of your dreams.

All of our adoptable animals are listed on Petfinder.com. Click on any cat or dog photo to learn more about them.
